You will join the Financial Restructuring & Insolvency team, handling complex matters, advising on governance, and navigating Chapter 11 cases with a collaborative global firm.

You will draft pleadings, plan negotiations, and coordinate multi-jurisdictional matters, working under guidance to manage multiple streams while delivering clear client updates.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school (LLM or foreign equivalent acceptable).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a large firm.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong drafting ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize under pressure.
• Fluency in English; bar admission in the city of application.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and revision of pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda in bankruptcy-related proceedings.
• Research and analyze complex issues under the US Bankruptcy Code and related statutes; provide strategic recommendations.
• Develop and revise plans of reorganization and discovery statements; prepare for hearings.
• Negotiate stay issues, cash collateral, DIP financing, and protective orders with stakeholders.
• Manage claims objections and cross-border insolvency workstreams; coordinate with overseas counsel.
• Draft and negotiate restructuring agreements and other key documents; supervise deposits and depositions.
