Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • At least 4 years of experience with SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) is highly desirable.

Job description

The Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing the financialconsolidation process, intercompany accounting, eliminations, and thepreparation of external financial statements, including SEC filings such as10-Qs and 10-Ks. This individual will collaborate across finance, operations,and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting, while helping tomaintain robust internal controls and process improvements.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

Manage themonthly and quarterly global consolidation process across multipleentities.

Performintercompany transaction reconciliations and ensure appropriateeliminations.

Work closelywith business units to resolve discrepancies in intercompany balances andreporting.

Prepare andcoordinate quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K,and other required disclosures.

Ensurecompliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal policies.

Draft financialstatement footnotes, MD&A sections, and XBRL tagging coordination (ifapplicable).

Assist in thepreparation and review of internal financial statements and reportingpackages for management and stakeholders.

Work withinternal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-endaudits.

MaintainSOX-compliant documentation for financial reporting processes.

Identify andimplement improvements in the consolidation and reporting process.

Supportautomation initiatives and financial systems upgrades (e.g., ERP,reporting tools).

Assist withaccounting policy updates and technical accounting research as needed.

Partner withFP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations teams to support businessinitiatives and ensure consistent reporting.

Support specialprojects and ad hoc reporting requests from senior leadership.

KEY COMPETENCIES

Strongknowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-orientedwith strong organizational and project management abilities.

Proficiency inERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and reporting tools (e.g.,Workiva, Hyperion, or similar).

Advanced Excelskills required; experience with XBRL and financial consolidation tools aplus.

Strong writtenand verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degreein accounting or finance required; CPA

Master’s degreein accounting or related field is a plus.

5–8 years ofprogressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.

At least 4years of experience with SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).

Publicaccounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) is highly desirable.

Experience inmulti-entity and inter-company environments required.

Experience inmulti currency transactions
