Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee the financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering accurate, timely financial statements, internal reports, and schedules. This role is vital for financial governance, regulatory compliance, and supporting executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Develop and implement financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
3. Enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy through best practices.
4. Partner with senior leadership to interpret financial results, trends, and KPIs.
5. Gain a strong understanding of the OneStream global consolidating system to design a repository of financial reports and books.
6. Assist in preparing management reports and presentations.
7. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Ensure compliance with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required).
• Master's Degree (Preferred).

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting (Required).
• 3+ years experience in the freight forwarding industry (Preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to analyze numbers and draw logical conclusions.
• Technical accounting background.
• Experience with multi-entity, international consolidations.
• Financial management skills, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with a commercial sense of business.
• Work ethic, self-motivation, attention to detail, and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
• Freight industry experience and knowledge of OneStream and CargoWise are a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• CPA certification required upon hire.
