Job summary

Truity Partners is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join our corporate finance team. This highly visible role will oversee statutory and GAAP reporting across multiple entities, support external audits, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

The candidate will lead quarterly and annual consolidation, perform variance analysis, and communicate results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or public accounting background preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and consolidation accounting.
  • Experience in regulated, multi-entity structures; audits and technical accounting research.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial reporting, including schedules, exhibits, and supporting disclosures for regulatory filings.
  • Manage quarterly and annual GAAP consolidation activities, including elimination entries, workpapers, and financial statement analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of audited financial statements and supporting documentation for legal entities.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis on financial results to identify significant fluctuations, trends, and reporting issues.
  • Support reporting provided to executive leadership, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
  • Review and coordinate responses related to regulatory inquiries, surveys, and requests for information.
  • Research and interpret evolving accounting and reporting guidance to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across cross-functional teams
