Job summary

AgriBank in Richfield, Minnesota, is seeking a Financial Reporting Intern to gain real‑world experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Bank and District Associations.

You will support the Financial Reporting Team with creating standard management reports, data inputs, and documentation; work 15-20 hours weekly starting September 2026, with 40 hours weekly during the Summer of 2027.

Qualifications

• Current sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Able to work 15-20 hours per week starting September 2026 and 40 hours per week during Summer months beginning May 2027.
• Basic Excel/Office proficiency and ability to learn reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standard management reports as directed.
• Perform internal report consistency checks.
• Prepare supporting documentation for reporting based on established standards.
• Prepare quantitative inputs for financial reporting deliverables.
• Submit information to management, auditors, and other third parties.
• Implement changes in desktop instructions and reviews procedures.
• Execute test plans.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in regulatory research projects or special projects.

Position Overview

As a member of the Financial Reporting Team, you will be part of AgriBank’s mission to support the people who feed the world. AgriBank’s Financial Reporting team is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings for the Bank and District Associations.
As a Financial Reporting Intern, you will obtain real world experience in preparing, in whole or in part, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare standard management reports on an as needed basis as directed
• Perform internal report consistency checks
• Prepare supporting documentation for reporting based on established standards
• Prepare quantitative inputs for use in financial reporting deliverables
• Prepare and submit requested information to intradepartmental management, auditors and other third parties
• Implement changes in desktop instructions and reviews procedures
• Executes test plans
• Identifies and recommends projects and process improvements
• Participates in regulatory research projects or special projects

The position will commence at the beginning of September 2026, with flexibility in the start and finish dates.
Minimum Qualifications

• Current sophomore or junior in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week starting September 2026 and 40 hours per week during the Summer months beginning May of 2027.
