Job summary

Agri-Access is seeking a Client Service and Servicing professional to support lending operations across internal and external clients. You will handle transaction analysis, documentation, and portfolio servicing with close collaboration across originators, investors, and finance teams.

The role emphasizes client service excellence, accurate data entry, and deep knowledge of loan documents. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field preferred.
  • Intermediate banking or lending experience.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of complex loan structures and documentation.

  • Basic agricultural terminology (preferred).
  • MS Office and CRM software proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Educate partner institutions on program delivery and processes.
  • Provide training on reconciliation and servicing processes as needed.
  • Monitor loan/lease documentation and servicing actions.
  • Liaise with originators and investors to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
  • Process loan/lease requests accurately from initiation to close.
  • Create or improve processes to support servicing workflows.

Where you will work:
This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% and is based out of the Mankato, MN, Rochester, MN or Johnston, IA office location.
The contributions you will make:
This position supports the Agri-Access lending program through professional, high-quality client service to internal and external clients. Primary responsibilities include transaction analysis and documentation; systems accounting, reporting and monitoring; portfolio servicing; and overall client service and support. Works very closely with originators, third-party Investors, direct borrowers, relationship managers, financial operations, and other Agri-Access team members throughout all phases of loan/lease cycles including post close servicing, documentation and final exit (payoff, restructure, foreclosure, REO etc.).
A typical day:
Client Service and Support
  • Establishes, develops and maintains a strong client relationship with internal and external client, acting as a liaison between Agri-Access and clients or other third-party investors.
  • Answers client questions via email and phone using the highest quality service techniques.
  • Educates partnering institutions and team on program delivery and processes.
  • Provides reconciliation and servicing process training to clients as needed.
Servicing Actions
  • Monitors borrower/lessee compliance with loan/lease documents.
  • Works with originator or clients on servicing actions, identifying deficiencies in documentation, changes in title, status of account or the borrower. Develops subject matter expertise on assigned accounts.
  • Prioritizes and analyzes incoming material service requests (requiring credit approval) and delegated approval, including change of payment dates, change of maturity, payment extension, release of collateral, release of insurance proceeds, consents, easements, substitutions and release of liabilities.
  • Completes delegated authorities such as conversions and assists with Risk Asset Unit (RAU) accounts.
  • Conducts research (internal and external) on a transactional basis per the servicing action.
  • Conducts in-depth review of lending partners unique set of documents and troubleshoots and corrects issues and/or discrepancies.
  • Packages and submits to credit for approval.Corresponds with clients as needed to obtain additional information and relay conditions for approval or denial.
  • Prepares documents for direct serviced loans as needed.
  • Reviews files and closes requests when all conditions are met.
Systems Accounting, Reporting, and Monitoring
  • Creates or updates loan/lease data in origination/servicing systems.
  • Inputs, updates, gathers and monitors information to provide reporting as requested (DQ (delinquency), rate reset, maturity, UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) continuations).
  • Performs a variety of accounting procedures related to lender reconciliation, receipts, checks issued and payoff.
  • Follows-up with team members and clients as needed for outstanding information or other specific campaign data based on the review of reports and systems information.
  • Monitors and audits borrower verifications and the collection and consistency of information.
Processing and Documentation
  • Processes loan/lease requests in a timely and accurate manner, including initial analysis, data entry, loan/lease documentation interpretation and investor requirements, and closes transaction.
  • Works with originators and investors to ensure proper documentation consistent with credit approval, conditions and investor requirements.
  • Creates processes as needed.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in in business administration, accounting, finance or related field preferred.
  • Intermediate-level experience in banking or lending environment.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize incoming workload with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of complex loan structure, systems and documentation.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.Solid client service skills.
  • Basic agricultural background and terminology, preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.

Base Pay

$47,100—$66,600 USD
