Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC in Chicago, IL is offering a full-time, fixed-term internship in Finance / Controlling starting as soon as possible. The role supports the Financial Reporting team with financial reporting, automation initiatives, documentation improvements, and the preparation of quarterly financial statements.

You will gain hands-on experience with IFRS and US GAAP, assist with audit support, and help improve accuracy and efficiency of department operations while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited US university pursuing Accounting or Finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with data analysis ability.
• Onsite availability in Chicago, IL for fall program.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and financial reporting teams in preparing and reviewing financial reporting models.
• Enhance Workiva model automation and process efficiency.
• Document financial reporting processes for accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with audit support and external inquiries for financial statements.
• Develop knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP in the renewable energy sector.
