Guidehouse is seeking a Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager to support the government's working capital fund. You will conduct pricing analyses, build cost-based models, and align demand, price and cost with business plans while collaborating with Controllers and Finance staff.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a bachelor’s degree, and 6+ years in financial analysis, with strong Excel modeling and costing experience. Salary range $113k–$188k.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and brief financial reporting and pricing analyses.
  • Manage accounting lines and monthly/quarterly statements and accruals.
  • Create cost-based and market-based pricing models for services.
  • Break down products into cost pools (labor, materials, overhead) and track expenses.
  • Identify pricing inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Job Family:Operational EffectivenessTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Active Top Secret SCI with PolygraphWhat You Will Do:The Guidehouse Team supports the government's working capital fund, which includes a wide array of financial management responsibilities, such as strategic planning, accounting and financial analysis, reporting and compliance, policy formulation and adherence, and training and process improvement.Through this diverse portfolio of tasks, the Guidehouse teams provides critical insights, advice, and recommendations to the program’s leadership teams as well as other internal and external stakeholders.The requested Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager will be tasked with assisting Business Enterprises in their annual and recurring pricing analyses, deriving price points for different business services, ensuring products and product lines are priced to breakeven, and working with Business Managers to makes sure demand, price and cost of services are aligned.Job Duties Include:Preparing, analyzing, and briefing financial reporting and pricing analyses and other measurements of performanceManaging accounting lines and expenditures, including monthly/quarterly financial statements and accruals, and coordinating SLA creation and ongoing monitoringCreating and maintaining cost-based and market-based pricing models for Business Enterprise services, ensuring models reflect actual costs, forecasted demand and costs, and strategic opportunities (synergies or efficiencies)Work closely with Controllers and Finance staff, breaking down products and services into cost pools (labor, materials, overhead, and indirect expenses), and tracking expenses to derive annual forecastsManipulating financial reporting submissions and pricing models in Excel to align with Business Enterprise budgets and long-term financial plansIdentifying inefficiencies in pricing and billing processes, and recommending improvementsWhat You Will Need:An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a FULL SCOPE (FS/FSP) polygraphBachelors degreeSIX (6) or more years of experience within business/financial analysis functionsWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Excel modeling experienceExperience in developing and presenting costing models for products/servicesExperience forecasting demand and understanding breakeven analysisComfort working in isolation to analyze Business Enterprise performanceAgency Working Capital Fund experience (financial & operational), and experience explaining solutions to senior level executivesA background with Activity Based Costing (ABC)A foundation and understanding of the similarities and differences between ABC, Zero Based Reviews, and Break even analysisKnowledge of both budget planning and budget executionSelf-motivated with innate organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills; ability to build relations with and communicate across all levels of staff and leadership, along with a variety of internal and external stakeholders groupsThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
