Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support a DoD client, bringing deep expertise in accounting, audit, internal controls and policy. The team will implement GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR standards and DoD financial frameworks.

Ideal candidates will hold an active Secret clearance, 3+ years of related DoD experience, and a relevant degree or certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM or CDFM. Salary ranges reflect DoD requirements and market norms.

Qualifications

  • ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET clearance required to onboard.
  • 3+ years supporting DoW financial management, internal control, or audit remediation.
  • Degree or acceptable certifications in accounting, finance, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support DoD client with financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls and policy work.
  • Contribute to ICOFR, GAAP/GAGAS compliance and audit readiness services.
  • Assist with DoD acquisition, inventory, and property management discussions.

These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy.Our Guidehouse team will provide:Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structuresFinancial audit statements and audit readiness servicesUnderstanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systemsUnderstanding of DoD acquisition, inventory, property and material managementWhat You Will NeedAn ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance; candidates must have approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.THREE (3) or more years' experience supporting a Department of War (DoW) financial management, internal control, audit remediation projects. Experience should include accounting, audit, budget, finance, internal controls, as well as other financial skillsets.Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science; OR one of the following active and current certifications issued by appropriate licensing authority may be used in lieu of listed degree field:Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)Project Management Professional (PMP)Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)What Would Be Nice To HaveMaster's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/AdministrationExperience in Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 6 (Property, Plant and Equipment), 10 (Internal Use Software), 50 (Establishing Opening Balances for Property, Plant and Equipment) and/or 54 (Leases)Experience in OMB Circular A-123 and/or A-136Federal Financial Management or Federal Accounting experience supporting the Department(s) of the Air Force, Army, and/or Navy.Currently possess one or more of the following certifications:Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)Program Management Professional (PMP)Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)#LI-DNIThe annual salary range for this position is $87,100.00-$130,700.00.
