Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a qualified accounting professional in Killingly, CT to support external financial reporting and GAAP compliance. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely financial disclosures and assists with audit requests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with ASC 842, ASC 606, and related disclosures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting close process.
• Assist with technical accounting matters including pension accounting, equity compensation, lease accounting under ASC 842, and revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Prepare and support disclosures in Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filed with the SEC.
• Update accounting policies to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Conduct technical accounting research and assist with related projects.
• Support external and internal audit requests.
