Contract-to-hire Opportunity!

Hybrid - 3 days per week in NYC

Our client specialise in the use and acceptance of commercial cards through its suite of proprietary technology-enabled solutions.

Summary:

You must be able to bring a depth of knowledge related to international payment rules, currency conversion, settlement and funding per country (Europe is primary, but Asia and Latin America are also important).

Duties:

As a Financial Reporting Analyst you will work with the payment funding files and Operational reporting, generating reports for daily funding processes, international payment processing, financial reconciliations daily & month end per country/currency/platform.

Required experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in payment operations, settlement processes, with some of it related to International markets
• Proven expertise in transaction reconciliation, settlement workflows, and payment systems
• In-depth understanding of payment industry regulations, standards, and best practices
• Extensive understanding of international payment systems and financial transaction workflows
• Experience working with financial data, transaction tracking, and account reconciliation
• Understanding of financial reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with card processing a plus
• Knowledge of SQL
