This role sits at the heart of the broker-dealer’s finance function, with responsibility for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strict compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. You’ll work closely with operations, trading, product control, and compliance teams, playing a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review financial and regulatory reports in line with SEC and FINRA requirements (including 15c3-1 and 15c3-3).
• Oversee P&L and balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
• Partner with trading, operations, and compliance teams to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives to strengthen controls and boost efficiency.
• Maintain high visibility across the organization through regular engagement with senior stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-5 years of Big 4 audit experience within financial services.
• Experience in financial control, product control, or regulatory reporting within a broker-dealer or other regulated financial institution.
• In-depth knowledge of US broker-dealer regulatory requirements (15c3-1, 15c3-3) and GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• CPA or other relevant qualification is advantageous.
