Job summary

HCSC in Nashville is seeking a leader to oversee financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accurate, timely disclosures and insightful corporate-financial guidance for executive leadership.

The role will drive the development and execution of the company’s financial reporting strategy, coordinating with accounting, audit, and finance teams and advising senior management on complex accounting matters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• 2 years of supervision or leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Established project management experience and ability to work with numerous different groups throughout a large organization.
• Demonstrated track record of attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

This position is responsible for leading and controlling financial reporting & analysis, developing and implementing HCSC’s financial reporting strategy. Position is also responsible for advising and consulting on financial accounting, reporting, and analysis to senior management.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 5 years accounting and financial reporting experience.
• 2 years supervisor and/leadership experience, skills in motivation, employee development, performance management, and hiring.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and presentation skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Established project management experience and ability to work with numerous different groups throughout a large organization
• Demonstrated track record of attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated project management skills

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant
• Insurance statutory accounting and reporting experience

Compensation: $92,700.00 - $167,500.00
