Job summary

MassMutual in Boston, MA or Springfield, MA is seeking a Financial Reporting & Analysis Associate to join the Management, Statutory Audited & Regulatory Reporting Team. You will produce and analyze regulatory, audited and management reports, leverage reporting systems, and collaborate with CFO teams to present financial results to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 years of experience working with audited statements, including disclosures OR regulatory reports OR 1 year working experience with audited statutory and GAAP reporting in life insurance companies.
• 1 years experience with general ledger reporting cubes and warehouses; and the ability to gather data elements from various sources

Responsibilities

• Produce regulatory, audited and management reports for key constituents.
• Interpret statutory and regulatory requirements for accurate reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual regulatory exhibits, schedules and disclosures.
• Complete state forms and participate in state filing processes.
• Monitor controls and document financial statement line items and tie-outs.
• Supervise offshore team for query refreshes and QA reviews.
• Work in a fast-paced agile environment to meet deadlines.
• Follow the daily quarterly close process and track notable items.
• Participate in complex cross-functional projects.
• Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes.
