Job summary

Primary Recruiting Services is seeking a Senior Accountant in Cincinnati to drive GAAP-compliant financial reporting and work on complex accounting initiatives. The role offers exposure to public accounting-linked controls and corporate finance projects, with potential advancement into management in coming years.

You will research new accounting pronouncements, support consolidated financial statements, and collaborate with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Public accounting experience or strong technical accounting experience.
• CPA or Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Does research on new accounting pronouncements.
• Ensure internal and external financial statements comply with GAAP.
• Helps lead implementations of new accounting standards.
• Assists in the consolidated financial preparation process.
• Arranges audits, special projects, and reviews.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and implement new procedures based on testing results.
• Make sure all earnings release deadlines are met.
• Work with external auditors to ensure they have all required information.
