The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking an Accounting Support Technician 1 to join our team. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

• One year of full-time work experience in processing financial or related data.
• Thirty semester hours of accounting or business coursework may count as one year of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Record Management: maintain financial records for ~110 individuals at Woodward Resource Center, ensuring accuracy of each account.
• Track and document funds daily into Sales & Collections for photocopies, personal telephone bills, and other services; receipt funds into Special Funds for donations and other money.
• Departmental collaboration and cross-training: back up for Accounting Clerk 2 in the Facility Rep Payee office; work with auditors, Central Office, and other customers.
