Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Financial Program Specialist to support the BRAC PMO for Navy BRAC properties in Pennsylvania. The role requires an active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one and US citizenship or permanent residency.

Starting salary ranges from 90–95K with full-time benefits. Responsibilities include assisting the Director and BCMs with budgets, planning, and financial controls, producing reports, and ensuring compliance with BRAC PMO policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of six years of financial and/or budgeting experience.
• Experience with government programs and budgeting is preferred.
• Ability to analyze reports and data from financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the Director, Base Closure Manager (BCM) and Deputy BCMs in preparing, managing and oversight of budgets and execution plans.
• Assist in establishing program goals and objectives by providing findings and recommendations to ensure projects are within budget and on schedule.
• Provides expert level QA/QC to ensure technical sufficiency for documents.
• Participates in program planning and budgeting requirements.
• Develops comprehensive financial plans and manages budgets per BRAC PMO policies.
• Performs financial reporting and analysis.
• Prepares regular reports and briefings on BRAC programs.
• Maintains program awareness by attending staff meetings and briefings.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
