Job summary

Prudential is seeking an Internal Wholesaler in Newark, NJ to drive sales and deepen relationships with Financial Professionals for PGIM Global Wealth Mutual Funds and Managed Accounts. The role requires maintaining expert knowledge of the product line and the mutual fund industry.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of financial industry sales experience, FINRA Series 7, and appropriate state licenses. Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Financial Industry experience in a sales capacity with Mutual Funds and/or Managed Accounts.
• FINRA Series 7 required; Series 6 considered but must obtain Series 7 within 90 days of hire.
• FINRA Series 63 or 66 required within 30 days of hire.
• A valid resident state insurance license required and must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Financial Professionals selling PGIM Global Wealth Mutual Funds and Managed Accounts.
• Outbound calls to Financial Professionals; communicate via letters and email.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions; maintain PC-based contact management system.
• Respond to inbound Product and Sales calls; support special projects as assigned.
