JCFSでは、JCFSプロジェクト担当者、Finance、Procurementと連携し、複数チームをまたいで小規模な財務計画・予算管理プログラムをオーナーするFinancial Planning PMを求めています。難易度の高い部門横断的な計画業務を自立的に、期限と品質を守ってデリバリーすることがミッションです。
このロールでは、プロジェクトコストのモニタリングとコントロール、四半期メカニズムによるコスト超過・乖離の早期発見、そして迅速な是正アクションの推進を通じて、JCFSのプロジェクト財務管理の強化を支援します。財務計画サイクル全体のコミュニケーションをオーナーし、ブロッカーを解消し、適切にエスカレーションしてデリバリーを軌道に乗せます。また、JCFSの投資計画とプロジェクト財務ステータスをAmazon Japanオペレーションリーダーシップに対して明確に報告します。グローバルのカウンターパートから優れた財務管理のベストプラクティスを学び、計画プロセスについて他者へのメンタリングを始めることも期待されます。
JCFS seeks a Financial Planning PM to own a small, well-defined financial planning and budgeting program for JCFS projects, working across teams in close partnership with JCFS project owners, Finance, and Procurement. You will deliver cross-functional planning work on time and to quality.
In this role you help JCFS strengthen project financial management by monitoring project costs, identifying cost overruns or variances early through a quarterly mechanism, and driving timely corrective actions. You own program communication for the financial planning cycle, clearing blockers and escalating appropriately to keep delivery on track. You also prepare and deliver clear reporting on JCFS’s investment plans and project financial status to Finance and Operations Leadership. You are encouraged to learn best financial-management practices from your global counterparts and begin to mentor others on the planning process.

Key job responsibilities

• JCFSの各チームリーダーおよびプロジェクト担当者、Financeと連携し、財務計画・予算・コストコントロールのプロセスを設計・運用します。迅速かつ明快な意思決定を推進し、業務のスコープをコントロールします。
• 四半期メカニズムを活用し、コスト超過・乖離・プロジェクト遅延の可能性を先回りで特定し、適切な問いを投げかけ、コストを計画通りに保つための投機を実行します。
• Operations FinanceおよびProcurementと連携し、プロジェクト予算計画や収益性見込み、物品調達状況を確認し、プロジェクト毎の財務リスクを見える化します。
• JCFSのプロジェクト投資計画、収益性、四半期のリスク・オポチュニティ評価を明確かつ簡潔なビジネスドキュメントにまとめ、Leadershipへ報告します。改善が必要な場合は、プロジェクト関係者と連携して実行計画とアクションを策定・推進します。
• グローバルステークホルダーと連携し、優れたプロセスやツール、方法論を積極的に学び、JPへの導入を推進します。
• Create and run a financial planning, budgeting, and cost-control process with JCFS stakeholders (team leaders and project owners) and Finance; drive crisp, timely decisions and keep the scope of effort under control.
• Using the quarterly mechanism, proactively identify potential cost overruns, variances, or project delays, surface the right questions, and implement appropriate measures to keep costs in line.
• Partner with Operations Finance and Procurement to validate project budget plans, profitability outlooks, and procurement status, and make project-level financial risks visible.
• Prepare a clear, concise business document reporting JCFS’s project investment plan, financial viability, and quarterly risk-and-opportunity assessment to Leadership; where improvements are needed, coordinate with stakeholders to define and drive action plans.
• Seek and learn best practices from other geographies and work with global stakeholders to adopt their tools, standard processes, and methodologies in Japan.

A day in the life

• 毎週のPMチームミーティングを開催し、JCFSのビジネス状況に関する情報をアップデートします。
• 他チームや組織との連携が必要な場合は、関係部門の担当者と協力して要件を明確化し、ビジネスゴールに沿って優先順位を整理し、リーダーの意思決定を支援します。
• JCFSメンバーとともにFCやSort Centerなどのオペレーション拠点を訪問し、JCFSのビジネスと技術を学びます。
• Hold a weekly PM team meeting to update information about the JCFS business situation.
• When collaboration with other teams or organizations is needed, work with representatives from other departments to clarify requirements and align prioritization with business goals to support leadership decision-making.
• Visit operational sites such as FCs
