Mariner Wealth Advisors is seeking an Intern, Financial Planning to support advisors in servicing high net worth clients through holistic financial planning and client relationship support. You will assist with onboarding, meeting preparation, plan development, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the start of the internship
• Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding clients by preparing and processing necessary paperwork
• Develop clear, engaging materials to explain financial concepts for client meetings
• Observe and learn from client meetings to understand relationship-building
• Participate in meeting follow-up tasks including documentation and research
• Contribute ideas on improving client service and business opportunities
• Support client service activities, including account maintenance and money movement processes
• Use planning software and CRM to assist with plan development and data management
• Assist with data entry, plan modeling, and preparing deliverables
• Collaborate with team on special projects and client service initiatives
