Job summary

Mariner Wealth Advisors is seeking an Intern in Financial Planning to support advisory staff in serving high net worth clients through holistic planning and client relationship support.

You will gain hands-on experience assisting with onboarding, meeting preparation, and the creation of financial plans while developing advisory, consultative, and communication skills in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the start of the internship
• Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding clients by preparing and processing necessary paperwork
• Develop materials to explain financial concepts clearly and engagingly
• Observe client meetings to understand relationship-building
• Follow-up tasks including documentation, research, and solution development
• Contribute ideas to improve client service and business development opportunities
• Support client service activities including account maintenance
• Use financial planning and CRM software to assist plan development
• Assist with data entry, plan modeling, and compiling deliverables
• Collaborate on special projects and client service initiatives
