Job summary

Solutions Development Corporation is seeking a budgeting and financial analysis professional to manage funding processes and cost estimation for multiple government programs. The role involves preparing cost estimates, tracking expenditures, and collaborating with Government SMEs.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in budget analysis, with strong Excel capabilities to create compelling reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years demonstrated experience analyzing program budgets.
• Experience using advanced Excel functions to produce graphs, charts, and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Analyze need for and send funding to contractors.
• Maintain spreadsheets tracking status of funding.
• Maintain library of Division business office products.
• Track financial expenditures for various projects within Division.
• Assist and track incremental funding approval processes.
• Create cost estimates and analyze cost estimates for accuracy.
• Provide NWAs/Government charge codes to Government personnel and track expenditures against those codes.
• Gather financial information for Government SMEs, as requested.
• Work with Government SMEs to develop ROMs and Task Planning Sheets.
• Assist and brief Government SMEs with status and mid-year financial reviews.
• Aid the Program Manager in responding to budget data calls at the Branch, Division, and Department level by providing financial data and analysis.
