QED Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a federal client program in the Washington, DC metro area.

The analyst will assist with budget formulation, execution, and reporting, collaborating with program managers and financial leadership to ensure funds are managed in accordance with appropriations rules. The role requires 3+ years in financial analysis and a strong command of Excel and reporting tools; on-site work at client facilities is expected with standard business

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budget formulation, or financial management.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) and Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilités

Support budget formulation and execution, including spend plans,Justifications, funding requests.
Track commitments, obligations, and expenditures against budgets; identify shortfalls and funding risks.
Reconcile financial data across systems and program records; research discrepancies.
Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and funding status briefings.
Develop cost estimates, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI analyses for program decisions.
Support audit readiness activities and responses to data calls from oversight bodies.
Coordinate with contracting officers and program offices on funding actions and modifications.
Monitor year-end closeout activities and preparations for next fiscal year.
Maintain organized records of financial documentation and historical budget data.
Attend meetings and provide status updates for invoice validation and contract reporting.
Familiarity with QuickBooks, Unanet, or similar accounting software preferred.
