Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to partner with department heads and the CFO, leading forecasting and P&L review across locations.

You will build dashboards in Power BI, pull data via SQL, and present insights at executive committee meetings. You will supervise one junior analyst and participate in monthly reporting after training.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel abilities.
• Experience pulling and manipulating data with SQL and/or Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department heads and CFO.
• Analyze potential revenue and forecast.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the executive committee.
• Create budgets for multiple locations using Power BI/SQL.
• Perform full P&L review and monthly CFO reporting.
• Create dashboards and analyze store-level expenses vs budgets.
• Conduct margin analysis and provide commentary on actual vs budget.
• Participate in monthly reporting meetings and present findings.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses.
• Supervise 1 junior financial analyst.

Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Large multi – national firm is seeking to bring on a Senior Financial Analyst that is ready to step into a Manager or leader role! his role will be working 3 days a week in the office after training.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Role will be:

• This role will be a business partner to the Department Heads as well as the CFO
• Analyzing potential revenue and forecasting
• Putting together presentations via power point for the executive committee
• Wil utilize power BI, SQL and perform queries to pull data for full profit and loss review. Creating budgets for the multiple locations
• Full P and L Review, monthly reporting for the CFO
• Creating dashboards, analyzing expenses by individual stores according to budget targets
• Margin analysis and commentary,
• Will be a part of the monthly reporting meeting and will present findings and commentary based on actual versus budget targets.
• Ad hoc analysis.
• Will supervise 1 Junior level financial analysts on the team

What we are seeking in a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:

• At least 4+years FPA
• Strong Microsoft Excel abilities
• Working with SQL and/or Power BI to pull data and manipulate data
• Bachelor’s degree in finance accounting or economics
