This position will be on site at our facility located in: Cisco, TX.

Position Summary: The Financial Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company’s financial health by analyzing business performance, preparing financial forecasts, and offering insights to guide strategic decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and data analysis to support growth and profitability initiatives.

  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, providing explanations and insights.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Create and maintain financial models to project revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Monitor and update forecasts based on changing business conditions.
  • Support decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, or cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems, tools, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
