FP&A Analyst

Location: New York

Salary $120,000 - $130,000 + bonus

Piper Maddox are partnered with one of the most exciting renewable energy power producers in the US as they continue to expand their complex finance function. Backed by a renowned private equity investment group our client are developing, owning and operating distributed generation BESS assets across the US.

As a key member of their FP&A team you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial performance of assets in development and overall G&A. Working closely with the wider finance function, and investment team this is a fantastic opportunity to oversee a highly valuable portfolio of assets come to life.

• Lead the development and maintenance of G&A financial models and cost allocations, collaborating closely with finance and business stakeholders to support in-depth cost analysis.
• Prepare and deliver monthly cost reporting for department leaders, comparing actuals to budget and forecast to drive financial accountability.
• Design and manage monthly and quarterly consolidation templates to support accurate G&A forecasting across the organization.
• Support both ongoing and annual budgeting processes, contributing to financial planning efforts throughout the fiscal year.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior management through data-driven financial analysis.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or a related finance role.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both peers and senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Industry experience in renewable energy, real estate development, or construction is strongly preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering accurate work.
