Targetbase in Irving, TX is seeking an Analyst on the Client Finance Team to support the Senior Director, Finance and engagement teammates in financial reporting, analysis, and management across multiple client accounts and workstreams.

You will collaborate with account leaders to manage client financials, advise on performance trends, and ensure accurate billing and SOW pricing. The role supports month-end close, audits, and cash flow management in a hybrid office setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance required.
• 2–4 years of professional work experience.
• Translating complex financials clearly for varied audiences.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 and IBM Planning Analytics.
• Cognos Analytics and/or HFM experience is a plus.
• Experience in professional services or 'billable hours' environment preferred.

The Analyst on our Client Finance Team supports the Senior Director, Finance and Client Engagement teammates in business financial reporting, analysis, and financial management across multiple accounts and client workstreams.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with account leaders team to effectively manage client financials
• Proactively consult account lead & team on current and trending business performance and client financials, and make recommendations for growth, portfolio health and overall fiscal performance to drive results and align with company goals
• Manage client billing process and reporting
• Review and approve client contracts and Statement of Work (SOW) pricing
• Work strategically with account leads to ensure healthy client financials, portfolio performance, expense-planning, KPI performance, and company & corporate governance adherence
• Partner with Account & Project Management teams in revenue projection assembly and revisions
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Execute Accounts Payable function, including invoice coding and vendor disbursements
• Prepare and analyze financial reports such as general ledger actuals, Statement of Work (SOW) tracking, and client reconciliations ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
• Partner closely with Account leaders to ensure healthy cash flow management
• Assist in setting & driving performance goals for assigned client accounts/book of business
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ad-hoc reporting & analysis for the Finance or Account team, as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree Finance required with 2-4 years of professional work experience
• Prior experience translating complex financials clearly and concisely to a variety of internal and external audiences
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Business Dynamics AX, D365, IBM Planning Analytics experience required
• Microsoft Office expertise (with heavy emphasis on Excel)
• IBM Cognos Analytics and/or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience nice to have
• Experience with process and financial system improvement is preferred
• Experience in professional services firms and/or ‘billable hours’ environment is highly preferred

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Overtime as necessary

We work a hybrid schedule - 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. Candidates must local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and willing to be onsite in the Irving, TX office 3 days weekly.
