Job summary

S+H Search in Dallas seeks an FP&A Analyst to join our real estate finance team, focusing on financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and valuation across a commercial portfolio.

You’ll partner with Asset Management, Investments, Development, Leasing and Property Management, build models in Excel, and turn data into actionable insights to drive investor returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in commercial real estate.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, “figure it out” mindset with a high level of ownership.
• Comfort working across teams and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager preferred; Yardi Elevate ABF is a plus.
• ARGUS and commercial real estate experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue, expenses, KPIs, and budget-to-actual performance.
• Build and maintain financial models, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and financial analysis for management, owners, capital partners, and investors.
• Evaluate leasing activity, developments, expansions, and other initiatives and their impact on asset value and investor returns.
• Support quarterly property valuation activities.
• Work cross-functionally with Leasing, Asset Management, Investments, Development, Marketing, and Property Management.
• Jump into high-priority projects and deliver insights when the business needs them.
