The FP&A team at Choice Hotels partners with leadership to drive critical decisions, maximize profitability, and support long-term growth. As a key member of our FP&A team, you will serve as a trusted finance partner to leaders across the Brand Segment organizations, delivering essential financial and strategic insights.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Be a strategic partner to Choice’s Brand Segment Organizations, including the Upscale, Midscale/Economy, and Extended Stay segments, as well as the Franchise Development and Franchisee Onboarding organizations.
  2. Drive financial excellence for your areas by overseeing planning, performance, headcount, and key business metrics.
  3. Lead critical processes, including annual and long-term planning, as well as monthly financial and KPI reviews with leadership.
  4. Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assess performance, identify opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally as a financial and strategic expert, tackling complex challenges and delivering actionable insights to leadership and the broader FP&A team.
  6. Turn strategy into action, partnering with business leaders to translate long-term strategies into an operational long-range plan.
  7. Model and analyze performance scenarios to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience in a related role.
  2. 4+ years’ experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or consulting with progressive responsibility and ability to drive performance.
  3. Hospitality experience or understanding of the Franchising business model is a plus.
  4. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to build complex models.
  5. Experience with the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and/or Oracle Smart View is a plus.
  6. Experience with financial modeling and/or data-driven decision-making.
  7. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  8. Self-motivated to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  9. Deals well with ambiguity.
  10. Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  11. Experience managing projects cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Manager, FP&A. You will have 2 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our FP&A Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $112,000 to $120,000 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
