A Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager helps a company understand its financial health and plan for the future. They analyze data, build forecasts, and create reports and dashboards to show where the company is making or spending money. This supports leaders in making informed business decisions. They also seek ways to improve and automate financial processes, and they help train and guide junior team members.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Develop and analyze forecasts. Collaborate with internal and external teams on data simplification, coordination, and automation. Transform financial analysis and reporting processes to deliver accurate and timely insights for management decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Interpret complex financial data to generate actionable insights for business decisions.
• Utilize database structures and data mining techniques.
• Create reports and dashboards to forecast trends and support strategic decisions, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.
• Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting, providing detailed and high-level analyses for Senior Leadership.
• Collaborate across teams to automate processes in FPA, Treasury, Accounting, and Technology, establishing checks and reviews.
• Review financial performance against estimates and develop models to assess the impact of business decisions.
• Apply financial modeling skills and GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work before submission to senior staff.
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis and reporting automation improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking, or Consulting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet modeling, presentations, databases, and cross-team coordination.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion/Essbase, and SAP S/4 HANA.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations.
• Ability to develop effective work plans and identify key reporting improvements.
• Experience in guiding and developing staff.

High initiative and the ability to learn independently in a fast-paced environment, performing well with minimal supervision amidst ambiguity and complexity.
