Albertsons Companies is seeking a Financial Analyst to lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis. You will build models, evaluate data, and partner with finance and operations to drive informed decisions. Strong Excel and P&L understanding are essential.

The role requires a four-year degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Boise, Idaho-based, with a focus on driving performance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience, plus at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of finance concepts, practices, procedures, and business operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Create and automate financial reporting for sales, profitability, expenses, and key performance measures.
• Support annual operating plan, quarterly projections, and recurring forecasts; may lead parts of planning.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses by defining approach, gathering data, and recommending actions.
• Use financial and systems expertise to support partners across finance and other functions.
• Analyze financial trends, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate findings to management.
• Improve forecasting and reporting processes by identifying workflow gaps and root-cause analysis.
