Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to lead and support Supply Chain FP&A activities, including consolidation reporting, data gathering, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.

The role involves building scalable models and dashboards, automating reporting with Power BI, SQL, and Google BigQuery, and mentoring other analysts. Travel is < 10% and collaboration across Finance and Operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial analysis.
• Leadership (supervisory or mentoring) experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Google BigQuery, Power Query, Excel/VBA and related tools.
• Ability to develop production-level dashboards, recurring reporting packages, data models, and automated reporting solutions.
• Strong FP&A knowledge including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and consolidation reporting.

Responsibilities

• Owns and supports recurring Supply Chain FP&A consolidation reporting processes, ensuring accurate, timely reporting.
• Drives strategic financial analysis and serves as a subject matter expert within the group.
• Prepares and reviews financial analyses, forecasts, and expenditure reporting.
• Develops advanced ad hoc analyses to explain performance drivers and risks.
• Develops, deploys, and maintains complex data models and dashboards.
• Designs, deploys, and maintains Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
• Partners with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to create scalable reporting solutions.
• Leads planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Mentors other analysts on reports, dashboards, and automation practices.
