Job description

About The Role

Arcadia Financial Group is a growing independent RIA built around a Family Office model that integrates financial planning, investment management, tax strategy, estate and legacy planning, insurance, and client service.

About The Role

Arcadia Financial Group is a growing independent RIA built around a Family Office model that integrates financial planning, investment management, tax strategy, estate and legacy planning, insurance, and client service.

We believe great financial planning goes beyond investment performance. It means understanding the full picture of a client's financial life, helping them make confident decisions, and building a plan that evolves alongside their goals.

Our Financial Planners are at the center of that experience.

As a Financial Planner, you'll develop meaningful, long-term relationships with clients and serve as a trusted resource for the financial decisions that matter most. You'll lead comprehensive planning conversations, translate complex financial concepts into clear recommendations, and coordinate with specialists across Arcadia to ensure clients receive an integrated experience rather than disconnected advice.

You’ll step into an established book of Arcadia client relationships, with your primary focus on serving those clients, delivering comprehensive financial planning, and strengthening those relationships over time. Rather than building a book from the ground up, you’ll have the opportunity to focus your energy on advising, planning, and creating an exceptional experience for the clients already entrusted to our firm.

Who You Are

You're a relationship-driven financial professional who enjoys helping clients understand their financial picture and make confident decisions.

You listen first, communicate clearly, and can simplify complex financial concepts without losing the substance behind them. You take ownership of the client experience, follow through on commitments, and value working alongside specialists to deliver comprehensive advice.

Specifically, You
  • Build trust and long-term client relationships naturally
  • Ask thoughtful questions and listen before making recommendations
  • Communicate financial concepts clearly and confidently
  • Balance strong planning skills with an exceptional client experience
  • Work collaboratively and know when to leverage specialized expertise
  • Take ownership of client needs, communication, and follow-through
What You'll Own

Client Relationships & Financial Planning

  • Serve as a primary financial planning resource for assigned client relationships, developing an understanding of each client's financial position, priorities, goals, and evolving needs
  • Lead client planning and review meetings, translating financial information into clear recommendations and actionable next steps
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial plans incorporating retirement, cash flow, investments, risk management, insurance, tax considerations, and estate and legacy objectives
  • Proactively identify planning opportunities, risks, and changes that may require adjustments to a client's financial strategy
  • Maintain consistent communication between formal meetings so clients remain informed, supported, and confident in their financial direction
Guiding Principle:

A financial plan should not simply document where a client is today. It should help them understand where they're going and give them confidence in the decisions required to get there.

Family Office Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Arcadia's Planning, Tax, Client Service, and other internal specialists to deliver a coordinated Family Office experience
  • Identify opportunities where tax, estate and legacy, insurance, investment, or other specialized expertise should be incorporated into the client's broader financial strategy
  • Coordinate recommendations across disciplines so clients receive cohesive guidance rather than disconnected advice
  • Work collaboratively with outside professionals, when appropriate, to support implementation of the client's broader financial plan
  • Ensure important client information, decisions, and planning needs are communicated effectively across the internal team
Guiding Principle:

Our clients should experience Arcadia as one integrated team. The Financial Planner helps connect the pieces and ensures recommendations support the client's complete financial picture.

Investment & Wealth Management
  • Provide investment guidance aligned with each client's financial plan, objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance
  • Review portfolio positioning as part of the broader planning relationship and identify circumstances requiring further analysis or adjustment
  • Help clients understand investment recommendations, market conditions, and long-term strategy while keeping conversations focused on their broader financial goals
  • Identify appropriate risk management and insurance considerations as part of the client's overall strategy
  • Support the growth and retention of client relationships by consistently delivering meaningful advice and an exceptional planning experience
Client Experience, Execution & Accountability
  • Prepare thoroughly for client meetings and ensure recommendations, action items, and follow-up responsibilities are clearly documented and executed
  • Maintain accurate and complete client information within Arcadia's CRM and financial planning systems
  • Coordinate with Client Service and other internal partners to ensure planning recommendations move efficiently from conversation to implementation
  • Deliver the proactive communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail expected of Arcadia's client experience
  • Maintain required licenses, continuing education, documentation, and regulatory standards associated with serving as an Investment Adviser Representative
  • Conduct all client relationships in accordance with Arcadia's fiduciary responsibilities, compliance requirements, policies, and professional standards
What Success Looks Like
  • Clients view you as a trusted advisor who understands both their finances and what they're working toward
  • Client meetings are thoughtful, prepared, and focused on meaningful financial decisions
  • Financial plans remain current and evolve as clients' lives, goals, and circumstances change
  • Planning opportunities are identified proactively rather than waiting for clients to raise them
  • Tax, estate and legacy, investment, insurance, and financial planning considerations are connected through Arcadia's Family Office approach
  • Client commitments and follow-up items are executed consistently and accurately
  • Internal teams have the information they need to provide clients with a seamless experience
  • Client relationships deepen because clients recognize the value of the advice and experience Arcadia provides
Experience & Background

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, or a related client-facing financial services role
  • Series 65 required
  • CFP® certification preferred, or interest in pursuing advanced financial planning credentials
  • Working knowledge of investments, retirement planning, insurance, and core financial planning concepts
  • Strong client relationship, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and make clients feel comfortable and informed
  • Strong organization and follow-through with the ability to effectively manage multiple client relationships and priorities
  • Experience with financial planning software, CRM platforms, or similar wealth management technology
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to leverage the expertise of the broader Arcadia team
Compensation

This position offers a hybrid compensation structure designed to reward both client relationship ownership and growth.

  • Base Salary: $85,000, based on experience, credentials, and demonstrated capabilities
  • Additional compensation opportunities through AUM-based compensation and insurance commissions

  • Employer-sponsored health insurance with 80-100% employer paid premium coverage, depending on selected plan
  • 100% employer sponsored dental and vision insurance
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO) and flexible scheduling
  • Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution
  • Quarterly clothing stipend
  • Professional development and continuing education opportunities
  • Collaborative, people-first culture that values ownership, growth, and accountability
  • Team events, community-focused volunteer initiatives, and additional workplace experiences
