Job description

At Premier Path Wealth Partners, we don’t just manage wealth—we help ultra-high-net-worth families build meaningful, multi-generational legacies.

We are a fast-growing, entrepreneurial firm driven by an Owner’s Mindset—where every team member is empowered to think, act, and grow like an owner. Our culture is built on integrity, grit, an obsession with exceptional client service, and continuous improvement, and we back that up by investing in our people.

If you’re looking for a place where you can accelerate your career, be challenged, and directly participate in the success you help create—this is the opportunity for you.

Position Overview

At Premier Path, we believe exceptional financial planning requires more than technical expertise. It takes the ability to understand people, navigate complex situations, and translate sophisticated strategies into meaningful advice.

As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planner who combines strong technical planning expertise with exceptional emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.

This role will focus on developing comprehensive financial planning strategies for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, including complex estate, tax, retirement, and multi-generational wealth planning.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their technical abilities but equally comfortable listening, asking thoughtful questions, adapting to changing circumstances, and working alongside clients and their broader team of professional advisors.

This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a growing wealth management firm where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will help shape our planning capabilities and client experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, analyze, and communicate comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Identify and evaluate sophisticated planning opportunities across estate, tax, retirement, risk management, charitable giving, and multi-generational wealth strategies.
  • Research complex planning strategies and develop thoughtful, actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, attorneys, CPAs, insurance professionals, and other specialists to coordinate planning strategies.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, practical recommendations tailored to individual client needs.
  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and sound judgment when navigating sensitive financial and family matters.
  • Adapt quickly to changing client circumstances, priorities, and planning needs.
  • Take ownership of planning deliverables from initial analysis through implementation and follow-up.
  • Contribute to the continued development and improvement of the firm’s financial planning capabilities.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Opportunity to work on sophisticated planning strategies for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.
  • Meaningful collaboration with experienced advisors and outside legal, tax, and financial professionals.
  • Career growth opportunities through advanced planning specialization, expanded advisory responsibilities, and potential leadership.
  • Full support for continued education, professional designations, and technical development.
  • Opportunity to help shape and strengthen the firm’s financial planning capabilities.
  • High-performance, entrepreneurial environment that values autonomy, collaboration, and an Owner's Mindset.
What We’re Looking For
  • 4–7 years of professional financial planning experience.
  • At least one of the following credentials required: CFP®, CPWA®, JD, or LLM. Two or more preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise in comprehensive financial planning, including estate, tax, retirement, and wealth planning strategies.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with attorneys, CPAs, and other professional advisors preferred.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts and navigate sensitive client conversations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable pivoting as client needs and priorities evolve.
  • Self-starter with an Owner's Mindset who thrives both independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Standard business hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (Note: Fridays are optional remote days for team members. This is contingent upon no client needs requiring attendance in office.)
  • This role requires flexibility beyond standard business hours to support client needs, including early morning or evening meetings and occasional events
  • Initial 90-day introductory period focused on learning the firm’s planning philosophy, shadowing client interactions, and demonstrating readiness for expanded client-facing responsibilities.
Compensation
  • Base salary: $150,000–$180,000, based on experience, credentials, and technical expertise.
  • Eligible for performance-based bonus tied to individual performance, quality of planning deliverables, collaboration, client satisfaction, and contribution to firm growth.
  • This position is classified as exempt and is not eligible for overtime compensation. Compensation reflects the expectation of fulfilling responsibilities as required to meet business and client needs.

We believe in investing in our people and supporting both professional and personal well-being through a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Hybrid 4 in 1 remote schedule (Note: Fridays are optional remote days for team members. This is contingent upon no client needs requiring attendance in office.)
