New York Life is seeking an entry-level financial advisor to help clients identify and achieve their financial goals through planning services across risk management, estate planning, debt and investment management, real estate, retirement planning, mutual funds, and more.

You will develop personalized financial plans, educate clients on insurance and investment options, and collaborate with a team to deliver exceptional service while pursuing ongoing training and certification opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or sales is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to build trust-based client relationships.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with digital tools for client management and communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related analytical field is required.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 are a bonus.
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel, CRM, planning software, Google Suite desired.

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is required
  • Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonus
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other related business or money management tools desired
  • Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential
  • Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients

  • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities
  • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Look for, identify, and secure new clients to serve as a trusted advisor for crucial financial decisions
