Strategies for Wealth is expanding and seeking an entry-level financial advisor focused on learning and client service. You will develop financial plans, build client relationships, and work toward FINRA licensure while meeting performance goals.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, math, and analytical skills, plus a bachelor’s in finance or related field. Training, mentorship, and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills for client interactions.
  • Willingness to learn and develop financial knowledge through mentorship.
  • Baseline knowledge of financial concepts and products.
  • Experience with sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, planning software, Google Suite, and CRM.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 is a bonus.

Job description

Our firm is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new financial advisor to join our entry-level ranks. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn the ropes of financial services needed for effective wealth management to help clients achieve their monetary goals. Successful financial planning is rooted in excellent communication, superb math and analytical skills, and smart decision-making.

Compensation

$90,000 - $100,000

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts and advice to clients, building trust and rapport.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to continually develop financial knowledge and skills through training and mentorship.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical thinking to assess client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
  • Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to understand client goals and provide personalized financial advice to help them achieve those objectives.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior Sales Experience (Preferred): While not required, prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs is needed
  • Baseline knowledge about financial industry concepts, financial products, and the role of a financial advisor is desired
  • Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonus
  • Superior communication, relationship building, and math skills to establish a strong foundation of customer service for all clients
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or alternate related analytical field is required

  • Coachable and Open to Feedback: Stay receptive to feedback and coaching from senior advisors, continually refining your approach and strategies to improve performance.
  • Obtain FINRA License: Work toward obtaining your FINRA license as part of your professional growth and development within the financial services industry.
  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Assist clients in setting and achieving their financial objectives by creating and executing well-thought-out financial plans that align with their needs and aspirations.
  • Achieve Sales and Performance Goals: Meet and exceed performance targets by consistently growing a client base and offering valuable financial solutions.
  • Create customized financial plans for each client based on his or her life stage, professional circumstances, and fluctuating financial needs
  • Support clients’ progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations
  • Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members
  • Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor
  • Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives
