Job summary

Strategies for Wealth is seeking an entry-level financial advisor eager to learn the financial services business and help clients reach monetary goals.

You will gather client information, customize financial plans, and offer strategic recommendations across products and investments. The role emphasizes learning, training, and growing a client base while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
  • Excellent math, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiar with MS Office, Excel, CRM systems, financial planning software, and Google Suite.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for new clients acquired through proactive measures to seek, identify, and establish prospects
  • Gather and assess each client’s financial information to determine financial status, cash flow, goals, and retirement plans
  • Customize financial plans for each client based on life stage and evolving financial needs
  • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other wealth management methods
  • Be coachable, organized, and eager to pursue training and development opportunities
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance financial knowledge and skills
  • Grow your career by networking and introducing clients to our services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships by offering personalized advice
  • Stay receptive to feedback from senior advisors and refine approaches
  • Work toward obtaining your FINRA license as part of growth
  • Assist clients in setting and achieving objectives with well-thought-out plans

Job description

Our firm is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new financial advisor to join our entry-level ranks. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn the financial services ropes needed for effective wealth management to help clients achieve their monetary goals. Successful financial planning is rooted in excellent communication, superb math and analytical skills, and smart decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for new clients acquired through proactive measures to seek, identify, and establish prospects
  • Gather and assess each client’s financial information to accurately determine factors including financial status, cash flow, monetary expectations, financial goals, retirement plans, and additional factors related to wealth management
  • Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs
  • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your financial knowledge and skills, ensuring you can develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Actively grow your career by networking within your community and introducing potential clients to the wide range of financial services we offer
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through personalized advice and guidance
  • Stay receptive to feedback and coaching from senior advisors, continually refining your approach and strategies to improve performance
  • Work toward obtaining your FINRA license as part of your professional growth and development within the financial services industry
  • Assist clients in setting and achieving their financial objectives by creating and executing well-thought-out financial plans that align with their needs and aspirations
  • Meet and exceed performance targets by consistently growing a client base and offering valuable financial solutions
Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or other related field
  • Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients
  • Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other related business or money management tools desired
  • Valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 preferred but not required
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts and advice to clients, building trust and rapport
  • Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to continually develop financial knowledge and skills through training and mentorship
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical thinking to assess client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
  • Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to understand client goals and provide personalized financial advice to help them achieve those objectives
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior Sales Experience (Preferred): While not required, prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role is a plus
