Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a capable professional to prepare and review annual financial reporting packages including 5500s, 8955-SSAs, and SARs for clients. You will communicate complex questions clearly to deliver an outstanding client experience while leading projects and guiding a global team.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing and speaking abilities, and the ability to identify and close process gaps in a collaborative hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Two years of related work experience, including leading projects.
• Working knowledge of recordkeeping systems and functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and guide business partners, and exercise good judgement in decision making.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Working knowledge of retirement plans and investment performance data.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews annual financial reporting packages, 5500s, 8955-SSAs, and SARs for Vanguard clients.
• Addresses technical questions with strong written and verbal communication to ensure a superior client experience.
• Independently analyzes and resolves issues, identifying trends and eliminating process gaps.
• Collaborates in a team to deliver timely and accurate client deliverables.
• Provides training and guidance to a global team of administrators on financial reporting and tax filings (ERISA, DOL, GAAP).
• Identifies improvements and automation opportunities, drives project plans, and communicates status to stakeholders.
• Builds trust and accountability within the team and participates in cross-team projects.
