Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of two years related work experience including leading projects.
• Working knowledge of recordkeeping systems and functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and guide business partners, and exercise good judgement in decision making.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Working knowledge of retirement plans and investment performance data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review annual financial reporting packages and Form 5500/8955-SSA/SARs for Vanguard clients.
• Address technical questions with clear written and verbal communication to deliver exceptional client experience.
• Independently analyze and resolve issues; identify trends and eliminate process gaps.
• Collaborate in a team environment to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Provide training and guidance to a global team of administrators.

Job description

Core Responsibilities

Prepares and reviews annual financial reporting packages, 5500s, 8955-SSAs, and SARs for Vanguard clients. Exhibits communication skills, both written and verbal, to address technical questions and create an exceptional client experience. Independently analyzes and resolves issues. Capable of identifying trends associated with challenges and works to eliminate process issues or gaps. Works collaboratively in a team environment with a focus on timely and accurate deliverables to clients. Provides training and technical guidance to a global team of administrators who prepare financial reporting packages and Form 5500 tax filings. This is in accordance with ERISA, the Department of Labor (DOL), and in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Identifies improvement areas, automation solutions, and independently organizes and executes project plans to create win-win outcomes for Vanguard and clients. Provides direction and motivation to project team members and is accountable to deliver outcomes. Monitors, analyzes, and reports on project performance. Effectively communicates project status and updates to stakeholders, including appropriate elevation of issues. Builds trust and holds self and teammates accountable for team outcomes. Participates in special team / cross-team projects and performs other duties as assigned.
