Job summary

Klaviyo in Boston is seeking a Financial Operations Co-op for the six-month program Jan 4–June 25, 2027. You will join the Procure to Pay team, handling procurement, purchasing and travel and expense operations, while building skills in data analytics and spend management.

The role requires working from our Boston office 5 days a week and collaborating across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and People Operations to optimize processes and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Data Science with an anticipated May 2028 graduation.
• Fast-paced, collaborative environment experience preferred.
• Experience or coursework in AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) is a plus.
• Strong data-driven decision making and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in the Boston office 5 days/week.

Financial Operations Co-op - Procure to Pay (Spring 2027)

This is a 6-month (Jan 4th-June 25th, 2027) paid co-op experience out of our Boston, MA headquarters. All co-ops are required to work from our Boston office 5 days per week.

As a Financial Operations Co‑op, you’ll join our Procure to Pay team, immersing yourself in strategic procurement, purchasing, and travel & expense operations. You'll develop critical skills in data analytics, spend management, vendor and customer setup, travel expense oversight, and the creation and management of purchase orders, all while meticulously tracking vendor spending.

This role is fundamental to ensuring Klaviyo's Finance team operates with seamless efficiency. You'll directly impact the team through maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships, and by contributing to the optimization of our operational processes and technology.

How you will make an impact:

• Contribute to end-to-end procurement process by managing purchase requests from submission to final execution


• Gain hands‑on experience with finance tools including ZipHQ, Navan, Netsuite, and Stripe


• Contribute to innovative process and workflow optimization through an AI-driven approach


• Play a key role in streamlining the onboarding experience for our external vendors and internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, People Operations, etc)


• Enhance the efficiency of our Finance Operations team by optimizing and improving data quality


• Engage in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with the Finance team and various business units

Who you are:

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2028


• Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and adapt quickly to new challenges


• Have demonstrated experience in projects or coursework in AI - building using (i.e. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor)


• A curious self‑starter with a strong desire to learn and take initiative.


• Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make data‑driven strategic decisions


• A dependable and accountable individual


• Meticulous and precise, with a commitment to delivering high‑quality, accurate work


• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
