Financial Operations Analyst (Entry Level/Junior) in Banking/Financial Industry

Employment Type: Contract, high possibility to convert to FTE
Location: Columbus, OH
Hourly Rate: $20-$22/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking entry-level Financial Operations Analyst to support banking and financial-services organizations with day-to-day operational, analytical, and administrative activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in the financial/investment banking industry.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, along with at least 6 months of relevant internship or professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily financial and operational processes and business activities.
• Analyze and maintain financial and operational data using Excel and internal systems.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Review information for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and assist with issue resolution.
• Support account, transaction, or client-related operational activities.
• Work with internal teams to complete requests and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Assist with process improvements and other operational projects as needed.
