NorthWestern Energy is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst in Butte, MT. The role provides operational accounting support, budgeting and forecasting assistance, and financial reporting using SAP and PowerPlan.

You will serve as the primary Finance contact for the operating division and coordinate with division managers. Minimum requirements include a four-year degree in Finance or Accounting and 3+ years of related experience, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and business software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis for the operating division.
• Assist in developing operating and capital budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain a system for analyzing operating performance.
• Serve as the primary Finance contact for the operating division.
• Use SAP for order, project creation, release, closeout, and reporting.
