The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for driving transformative change within the Finance Operations group and the broader Finance team. This role will be data-driven and involve gaining an in-depth knowledge of our business, which is critical to success. The position reports to the Manager, Finance Transformations and Operations, and will frequently interact with our leadership team.

What you'll do...

  1. You will spend 75% of your time focused on pricing analyses and strategies centered around margin predictability. The remaining 25% will be dedicated to transformative projects aimed at operationalizing processes around new systems.
  2. Maintain and analyze our Medical and Rx pricing models using tools such as Salesforce, Excel, and PowerBI.
  3. Drive pricing strategy and operations through in-depth analyses to ensure billing accuracy.
  4. Develop and deliver solutions for the Finance organization to promote growth and meet evolving business needs.
  5. Partner with business unit stakeholders to define project scope and objectives based on expected business outcomes impacting FP&A, Accounting, and Claims Collections.
  6. Assist in designing and executing training for team members on operational tools.

About you...

  1. 2-4 years' experience in Finance, Operations, or Business Analytics.
  2. Bachelor's degree required.
  3. Proficiency in Excel required.
  4. SQL competency preferred.
  5. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, Looker) preferred.
  6. Organized and methodical with a strong attention to detail.
  7. Adaptable, inquisitive, and a natural problem solver.
  8. Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects with minimal supervision.

In accordance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary range for NYC-based applicants is $80,000 - $90,000. Salary offers depend on various factors, including market data, location, and experience. Progyny offers a total compensation package including base salary, bonus, and equity.
