Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain best practices across the development department.
  • Facilitate review and support of project-related expenses and commitments, ensuring alignment between construction and development budgets.
  • Manage Committed Cost Contracts, including: tracking and reconciling contract commitments across internal systems; ensuring accurate coding and timely processing of invoices against committed contracts; monitoring contract amendments and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and communication; collaborating with vendors and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
  • Oversee Predevelopment Cost Management, including: tracking and forecasting predevelopment expenses across multiple projects; ensuring proper allocation and categorization of costs in alignment with budget expectations; supporting the development team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing early-phase financial risk.
  • Prepare and manage accounts payable reports, project status meetings, and various tracking tools.
  • Provide financial analysis to support key decision-making and ownership reporting.
  • Verify that all project deliverables meet quality standards prior to ownership transition.
  • Maintain system support for documentation and recordkeeping.

Job Description

The Financial Operations Analyst supports the development team by ensuring operational consistency, financial accuracy, and effective project tracking. Duties/Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain best practices across the development department.

Education & Experience
