Job summary

Landmark Properties, Inc. is seeking an Accountant I to support the finance team with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation. You will record, reconcile, and maintain general ledger entries, assisting with A/P and A/R processes and bank reconciliations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 0–2 years of experience. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Assist in various ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.

Job Description

The Accountant I is responsible for assisting with various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established financial policies and procedures.

Reports to: Divisional Controller - Corporate Accounting

Direct Reports: None

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Education & Experience
