Job summary

The Dalio Family Office (DFO) in Westport, CT, offers a hybrid work environment and a role focused on bookkeeping, month-end close, reconciliations, and tax readiness. The Accounting Associate will drive efficient financial workflows, manage critical projects, and partner across the organization to safeguard accuracy and controls.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of transactional accounting, familiarity with BlackBaud/Intacct/NetSuite, and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of transactional accounting experience.
• Experience with computerized general ledger software (BlackBaud, Intacct, NetSuite or similar).
• Prior experience with a family office or high net worth individuals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and perform complex bookkeeping and accounting activities for business entities, including month-end close, general ledgers, reconciliations, cash management, and tax preparation support.
• Manage key accounting projects and processes; review disbursements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify risks and implement solutions; support audit readiness and tax readiness.
• Collaborate across the organization to improve financial workflows and controls.
• Additional duties as assigned.
