Position Summary:
This position will reside in the Department of Medicine Chair's Office with financial responsibilities for both HSF and UAB. Manages and has significant authority for financial operations of larger, more complex units. Typical duties include developing and administering budgets and financial systems, projecting revenue, space and facility planning, grants management, and regulatory compliance. Ensures adherence to established guidelines, policies, and procedures, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Maintains accurate financial databases and provides financial guidance. May oversee billing, collections, revenue activities, and parts of the accounting function. Supervises office support and/or professional staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.

Salary Range: $55,180 - $80,000.
