  • Experience modeling early-stage or small company economics, where assumptions materially impact outcomes and decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to design models that directly inform go / no-go decisions, including whether a company, product, or initiative should be launched
  • Experience stress-testing assumptions and identifying critical thresholds (e.g., minimum volume, margin requirements, funding runway)
  • Ability to clearly communicate model outputs, risks, and trade-offs to executives and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience modeling cash flow, burn rate, runway, and break-even timelines for early-stage businesses
  • Design models optimized for Power BI / Excel / SQL-based reporting
  • Ensure models support self-service analytics without sacrificing control
  • Translate complex model outputs into clear, executive-ready insights
  • Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship on modeling best practices
  • Performing other duties will be at the discretion of management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial modeling in an FP&A related role.
  • Proven experience building scenario-based, ROI, break-even, what-if, and DCF models that inform strategic decisions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong understanding of financial statements.
