Your responsibilities

1. Act as business partner to the renewables team in Poland by providing commercial business support in order to drive financial performance
2. Act as local coordinator for all Finance related questions (Accounting, Tax, Controlling) and be the interface to Uniper Finance functions and external Service Providers
3. Supervision of the preparation process for the financial statements on the accounting side in cooperation with Legal and the external service provider to meet deadlines
4. Planning and tracking of local PnL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
5. Support liquidity management for Polish legal entities
6. Contact person for local tax authorities in cooperation with service provider
7. Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax statements (of CIT, VAT, WHT, etc.)

Your profile

1. Education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
2. At least 3 years experience in financial area (Controlling, Accounting, Tax)
3. Understanding of Energy/Renewables business
4. Knowledge of relevant IT-systems (e.g. SAP, BI-Tools)
5. Strong analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance and change
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and easily understandable way
7. Proactiveness and ability to cooperate in a cross-functional environment, high personal responsibility and tolerance to stress
8. Fluent in written and spoken English and Polish, knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
