Your responsibilities

• Act as business partner to the renewables team in Poland by providing commercial business support in order to drive financial performance
• Act as local coordinator for all Finance related questions (Accounting, Tax, Controlling) and be the interface to Uniper Finance functions and external Service Providers
• Supervision of the preparation process for the financial statements on the accounting side in cooperation with Legal and the external service provider to meet deadlines
• Planning and tracking of local PnL, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
• Support liquidity management for Polish legal entities
• Contact person for local tax authorities in cooperation with service provider
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax statements (of CIT, VAT, WHT, etc.)

Your profile

• Education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 3 years experience in financial area (Controlling, Accounting, Tax)
• Understanding of Energy/Renewables business
• Knowledge of relevant IT-systems (e.g. SAP, BI-Tools)
• Strong analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance and change
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and easily understandable way
• Proactiveness and ability to cooperate in a cross-functional environment, high personal responsibility and tolerance to stress
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Polish, knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
